Clerk of the Course Jeff Austin had laid out 14 steady, but tricky sections to be completed 3 times for this year's John Bolton Trophy Trial. Rain threatened to damp down the course, but in the end it remained dry and last year's winner John Lydamore did it again and took the premier award with the loss of a single mark. Fairly tight marking at the top of the main course as the first three riders only lost 5 marks between them. Neil Savage picked up second spot by virtue of a furthest clean tie break over Phil Frizzell. Of the youth riders Matt Whelan had a good ride to take top spot and best A class rider winning the Plastics Trophy.

Following the AGM the decision was taken to run all WLMC events under the TSR22b Non-Stop rule for 2013.
Good news! Trial fees for 2013 will be same as last year; including member subscriptions at just £1:00!
There will be no change to the courses and classes for 2013.
Any rider competing in the club championship who observes an event will receive maximum points added to his tally for one round only.
