A fairly pleasant, but coldish day greeted the competitors for this years running of the John Bolton trial. Fairly close marking at the top of the main course saw John Lydamore just taking the win by a two mark margin. A class rider Thomas Housecroft came out top of the youth class on the same course. By the time that the riders were nearing completing their three laps there were quite a few pumped up arms and aching joints, but most agreed that it had been a good trial and enjoyable.

A quick reminder about unofficial practicing after the event. After the last event at Post Hill it was noted that several riders were riding around after the event indiscriminately. We would like to remind all competitors that the permit and insurance issued for the event only applies whilst in competition. There are several public footpaths crossing Post Hill so you could find yourself inadvertently riding on one of them; an accident occurring in these circumstances would have far reaching consequences.
There is now a planning application in for the continued use of Rough Holden for trials. Help save a venue by making your comment on the Planning4Bradford website.
